Kris was born and bred in Canberra and loves the beach lifestyle and excellent golf courses that Wollongong has to offer.
Growing up Kris was always a sports fanatic, playing soccer, ice hockey, field hockey, tennis and golf. As he entered his final years of school, alongside this love for sport, Kris developed a fascination with human anatomy. With these two interests combined, physiotherapy seemed the natural field to enter, and as soon as he started there was no looking back. He loved it all the way.

I find great joy in helping other people and assisting them to achieve their goals. So although sports physio is a great passion of mine, I find it extremely rewarding helping out the general population, weekend warriors as well.
I also love having the opportunity to combine my hobbies and my work
What gets you out of bed?
Unsurprisingly, as per the above, I am obsessed with golf and that will get me out of bed at any hour of the day. But other things that get me out of bed are my beautiful dogs and partner.
EXERCISE! Wohoo! Nothing like those endorphins and the reward after going for a run.
What would people be surprised to know about you?
I am fluent in Danish

You’re the Voice – John Farnham or Rocket Man – Elton John
What makes you laugh the most?
Sarcastic, dry humour and Carl Baron

Toilet paper hung over or under?
If you say under you’re wrong
What do you love about Wollongong?
I love surfing and have always wanted to live at the beach. Wollongong is such a beautiful city and has the perfect balance of being big enough to have fun but not so big that you cannot walk your dog off leash anywhere.
Favourite local café & your coffee order?
JJ’s indian will change your life, particularly their malai kofta and paneer butter masala!
